Test and Research: Suga Weathering Technology Foundation founded and established Weathering Research Committee, Corrosion Research Committee and Snowfall Research Committee. These committees are performing research activities to advance weathering technologies.
The Weathering Light Research Committee conducts correlation studies – understanding the optical and mechanical behavior between outdoor exposure tests of materials and accelerated weathering tests.
The Corrosion Research Committee conducts correlation studies – understanding the optical and mechanical behavior between outdoor exposure tests of materials and accelerated corrosion tests. They are currently researching global atmospheric corrosion of metals.
